Family Philanthropic Fund

Cleveland Clinic is pleased to introduce a unique gift option designed to help you and your family realize your shared philanthropic vision and values: the Family Philanthropic Fund. This fund provides unusual flexibility in allowing your family the opportunity to designate different areas of support over the life of the fund. Together, you can build a named family legacy that will reflect your family's values now and in the future.

How It Works

The Family Philanthropic Fund offers a special chance to engage your entire family in the innovative patient care, research and education of Cleveland Clinic. You are building on your shared values while contributing to Cleveland Clinic's mission.

  • Your family can establish a Family Philanthropic Fund with a gift of $250,000 or more.
  • Your family may choose to establish a fund for a set term or endow a fund to last for generations.
  • You and your family members will receive regular progress reports on your fund's impact.
  • Annual distributions will be made to the area of your family's choosing.
  • Cleveland Clinic will convene annual or bi-annual family meetings with medical and program staff, who will provide you and your family with first-hand updates and help you explore new areas of interest through personalized information, meetings or tours.
  • At the end of each two-year period, the designation may be reviewed and changed, if desired.
  • You can create a strong family bond with a legacy of philanthropy.

No matter what Cleveland Clinic program or area you choose to support, a Family Philanthropic Fund is a powerful legacy because it represents your family and the values that you share.
