Cellular and molecular mechanisms of rejection and tolerance to allogeneic transplanted organs in animal models and in humans

  • Analysis of the role of T cells responding via the indirect allorecognition pathway as mediators of skin and cardiac transplant rejection in mice
  • Evaluation of the role of TGFb as a mediator graft tolerance in animal models.
  • Immunologic monitoring of peripheral cellular immune responses of human transplant recipients by ELISPOT
