The Department of Cancer Biology is developing strong translational research programs in disease-specific areas through highly collaborative interactions with outstanding clinical programs.
The Department of Cancer Biology currently has 11 primary Faculty members with strong research programs in gliomas, prostate and colorectal cancers, molecular genetics of human cancers, translational research and developmental therapy, cell signaling, apoptosis, genetic regulation and antiviral mechanisms. Outstanding facilities and generous start-up funds are available.
