Ansi (Angela) Chang, M.D. |
![]() |
Angela is a Principal Research Technologist who manages the day-to-day running of the lab. Her research focuses on oligodendrocyte cell lineages in development and in multiple sclerosis (MS) brain tissue, and their roles in remyelination in MS lesions. |
Project Staff |
Ranjan Dutta, Ph.D. |
![]() |
Ranjan is a Project Staff scientist. His Ph.D. project investigated tandem repeat sequences and their use in studying human population diversity. Since joining the lab, he has been involved in running and analysis of microarrays in the laboratory. His current research project deals with neuroprotective mechanisms that may promote neuronal survival in multiple sclerosis patients. |
Grahame Kidd, Ph.D. |
Grahame is a Project Staff scientist and manages facilities for confocal microscopy and digital imaging in the Neurosciences Department. Grahame's research areas include the cell biology of myelin formation, particularly protein and mRNA targeting and roles of the cytoskeleton. |
Xinghua (Andy) Yin, M.D. |
![]() |
Andy is a Project Staff scientist in the lab and an expert in electron microscopy (EM), especially cryoimmuno-EM. At present, his work focuses on the molecular mechanisms of myelin assembly, and the roles of Schwann cells and oligodendrocytes in axon survival and maintenance. |
