What is Contribute?

Contribute is a web authoring tool that will allow you to make quick changes to your web pages. The software has an easy WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) interface and acts like a simplified word processor, which will let you insert images, tables, MS Word and Excel documents and hyperlinks to other documents on the web.


What is a Contribute Connection Key?

A Contribute Connection Key is a file that will give you access to files on the staging web server. The key is usually sent as an email attachment by the Web Manager. If Contribute is installed on your LRI computer, please contact the Web Manager to request a key.


How to order Contribute?

Currently, Adobe (formerly Macromedia) Contribute is at version CS5. The software is Windows AND Macintosh OS X compatible. Purchasing information for Contribute and related software can be found on the Software page.


What are the system requirements for Contribute?

Please check the requirements for each version carefully on the vendor's web site. The information is available for employees on the Software page. For the installation you'll need a DVD-Rom drive. If you don't have this type of drive, you can still download the trial version from the Adobe web site and apply the license number to unlock the software.
