At Cleveland Clinic’s Lerner Research Institute, laboratory researchers partner with physicians and clinical investigators to study and develop new preventions, treatments, and therapies for a range of illnesses like heart disease, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, cancer, Crohn's disease, and chronic pain. The Institute’s more than 2,000 physicians, scientists, and engineers share a common goal—advancing science to provide real solutions for patients. To make a donation, go to our secure online form. Under "Gift Designation," you may choose that your gift be used in the area of greatest need or in one of the following gift designation programs:

  • LRI Chair's Innovation Fund (provides necessary start-up funding for innovative and promising research projects)
  • LRI Capital Equipment Fund (supports purchasing state-of-the-art research equipment)
  • General Research Endowment Fund (supports the research infrastructure when other forms of funding are not available)
  • Breast Cancer Vaccine Fund (funds for the development and human testing of breast cancer immunoprevention)
  • Sherwin-Page Chair Endowment Fund (supports innovative research programs under the direction of the Chair of the Research Institute)
  • Center for Clinical Research Fund (supports innovative clinical research projects)
  • Laboratory Research Partnership Fund (provides funding for innovative laboratory research projects)
  • LRI Chair's Fund for Staff and Employees (supports recognition, productivity and development efforts for researchers)
  • Bernadine Healy, MD, Outstanding Women in Science Lecture Fund (funds lectureship highlighting exceptional women in medical research)
