PASA (Program for Automated Sequential Assignment) is a program package for protein backbone sequential assignments based on multidimensional triple resonance experiments on isotope-labeled proteins. The PASA-based assignments will be obtained by a pattern filtering algorithm which has been described in our paper (J. Biomol. NMR). The program was written in standard C language, and was developed in a modular fashion in which each module has one or several well-defined tasks.
The program package can be downloaded free on this site. Users can choose one of the three compressed files that fit most to their computation environments. These executable files are compiled using GCC v3.3.3 under Linux/Federa Core2, GCC v2.95.2 under SGI/IRIX64-6.5.14m, and GCC v2.95.3 under Sun/Solaris8 (SunOS5.8), respectively.
To install, simply extract the compressed file and change the mode for those executable files as below:
