The Lerner Research Institute is composed of nearly 1,500 Caregivers from all walks of life. We are consistently ranked one of the most engaged large institutes in Cleveland Clinic, according to the Press Ganey employee engagement survey. Our Caregivers enjoy a stimulating work environment with opportunities for educational and career development, as well as extracurricular activities, such as diversity celebrations, quarterly Science Café presentations, volunteer and community outreach opportunities and wellness-based activities like yoga and tai-chi.
Our Diversity Council aims to support a high-performing and inclusive environment by providing a dialogue about issues surrounding diversity in the workplace. An annual art and music show; Black History Month celebration; and presentations regarding gender and generational differences, work-life balance and world cultures and religions are some of the initiatives the Diversity Council leads. In addition, in conjunction with the Research Education Office, the Diversity Council hosts the Conversational English Program, which provides international researchers with basic English language training.
The Lerner Research Institute is located near University Circle, which is located five miles east of downtown Cleveland and is the cultural, medical and education hub of Cleveland and Northeast Ohio. Learn more about what CLE has to offer: This Is Cleveland
