The
purpose of MDS is to enhance and create innovative medical devices from ideas
originating at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. MDS is staffed with a multidisciplinary
team of professionals who have extensive experience in medical device design
and product development. Our technical specialties include mechanical and
electrical engineering design, prototype fabrication, in vitro and
in vivo testing, finite element analysis (FEA), and computational
fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis. We also have commercialization experience,
including project management and design for manufacturability. The four technical
