New Arrivals
First of all, on behalf of all the Postdoctoral Research Fellows (PDRFs) and Research Associated (RAs) within the
Department of Cell Biology, welcome to the Lerner Research Institute and welcome
to Cleveland! Many of us appreciate that it can be difficult moving to a new
place and meeting new people, especially if you are arriving from outside
the country.
To help new arrivals settle in and to act as a transition to Cleveland, the
PDRF/RA community in Cell Biology have identified Welcoming
Representatives consisting of PDRF and RA voluneers within our department.
Each volunteer is from a different background and culture with the idea that
you might share something in common with a representative, be it language,
culture or both.

feel free to contact us and, if we have the time and the resources, we would
be glad to help or point you in the right direction. We hope that one, or
all of us, can help you adjust and settle into the Department of Cell Biology
and Cleveland!
