Applying to the Lerner Research Institute
Postdoctoral Fellows in the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute (LRI) have the opportunity to train on the cutting edge of research technology in nine major research departments and more than 11 clinical centers for research. Postdoctoral Fellow Opportunities are continuously updated on the Institute job board. In addition, a postdoctoral CV directory is maintained internally for all Institute Faculty to view. Qualified candidates can apply directly to the Lerner Research Institute by sending ONE file containing both a cover letter and curriculum vitae. Label the file with your complete name and degree (Mary Smith, Ph.D.) and send to REO@ccf.org.

Upon arrival, each new LRI Postdoctoral Fellow should report to their research department in the LRI to pick-up a Welcome Packet and to schedule their Research Orientation in the Research Education Office (REO) . The office is a full-range academic services office and provides information about working in the LRI and guidance during the orientation time and throughout the Postdoctoral Fellowship.
Your Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Lerner Research Institute
The Policies and Procedures for Postdoctoral Fellows provides the framework for the LRI Postdoctoral Fellowship. Throughout your postdoctoral fellowship, the Research Education Office provides continuing support for career development with a monthly Career Development Seminar Series in addition to one-on-one consultation with the Director of Research Education. The postdoctoral fellowship program in the LRI is unique in the opportunity for promotion within the Institute to Research Associate and from Research Associate to Project Scientist, both junior faculty positions here at Cleveland Clinic. The Lerner Research Institute is a sustaining member of the National Postdoctoral Association and supports the policies and practices of the association.
