Liping Liu, M.D., Ph.D. |
Liping is a member of the Project Staff. Her research focuses on the roles of chemokine receptors such as CXCR3, D6 and CXCR2 in the pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis by using animal models such as EAE. Currently, she is investigating the role of the chemokine receptor CXCR2 in demyelination and remyelination in three different demyelination and remyelination animal models. |
Haiyan Lu, Ph.D. |
Haiyan is a Research Fellow. |
Yukio Takashita, Ph.D. |
Yukio is a Research Fellow in the lab. |
Birgit Obermeier, Ph.D. |
Birgit joined the lab in 2011 as a Research Fellow. Her research interest is about transmigration of lymphocytes across the blood-brain barrier. For her studies, she is using an in vitro BBB model that incorporates physiological blood flow conditions. |
Bunny Cotleur, M.S. |
Bunny is a Principal Technologist in Neuroinflammation and Scientific Consultant for the Flow Cytometry Core. Bunny is currently examining the role of estrogens in leukocyte migration across the blood-brain barrier. |
Anna Rietsch, B.S. |
Anna is a Senior Research Technologist and Lab Manager and is working on correlations between MRI and Normal Appearing White Matter in MS brains. |
Lisa (Roo) Spangler, B.S. |
Roo is a Research Technician who works with Liping. She is investigating the role of the chemokine receptor CXCR2 in demyelination and remyelination in three different demyelination and remyelination animal models.
