Laboratory
Liping Liu, M.D., Ph.D. |
Liping is a Research Associate. Her research focuses on the roles of chemokine receptors such as CXCR3, D6 and CXCR2 in the pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis by using animal models such as EAE. Currently, she is investigating the role of the chemokine receptor CXCR2 in demyelination and remyelination in three different demyelination and remyelination animal models. |
Meizhang Li, Ph.D. |
Meizhang is a Research Fellow and is currently studying the roles of chemokine CXCL12 in neural stem cells in demyelination models. |
Shumei Man, M.D., Ph.D. |
Shumei works as a Research Fellow. Her research focuses on the mechanism and intervention of leukocyte brain infiltration in neuroinflammatory diseases utilizing static & dynamic blood-brain barrier models.
Carine Savarin, Ph.D. |
Carine joined the lab in November 2006 as a Research Fellow. She works on the role of matrix metalloproteinases on blood-brain barrier disruption using a model of virus-induced demyelination. |
Barbara Tucky, B.S. |
Lead Research Technologist and Lab Manager in the Ransohoff lab. Currently working with Dr. Shumei Man on a blood-brain barrier model studying inflammatory cell migration into the CNS. |
Bunny Cotleur, M.S. |
Bunny is a Lead Technologist in Neuroinflammation and Scientific Consultant for the Flow Cytometry Core. Bunny is currently examining the role of estrogens in leukocyte migration across the blood-brain barrier. |
Anna Rietsch, B.S. |
Anna is a Senior Research Technologist and Lab Manager and is working on correlations between MRI and Normal Appearing White Matter in MS brains. |
Lindsey Darnall, B.S. |
Lindsey is a Research Technician investigating the role of the chemokine receptor CXCR2 in demyelination and remyelination. |
Cathleen Chang, B.A. |
Cathy is a Research Technician who works with Meizhang to study the role of chemokines in neural stem cells. |
Anupama Josyula, M.S. |
She is a Research Technician working on evaluating biomarkers of the therapeutic response to interferon in MS. |
Sherry Yu |
Sherry is a student in the medical program at Case Western Reserve University, working with Carine Savarin. |
Kate Koch |
Kate is a high school student from Hathaway Brown, working with Carine Savarin.
Kate Collins |
A New Jersey Transplant, Kate joined the Ransohoff Lab in June 2008. She schedules travel and provide administrative support to Dr. Ransohoff and his lab members. |
