The Angiogenesis Center bridges basic and clinical research in the development and clinical evaluations of anti- as well as pro-angiogenic drugs. The center combines the expertise of investigators with interests in the mechanisms of tumor vascularization, the development of novel anti-angiogenic strategies in age-related macular degeneration, and the efforts of cardiovascular biologists.
The center also offers shared resources in vascular functions, eye vasculature assays, tumor models and cardiovascular models.
